Eopteranodon lii
Taxonomy
Eopteranodon lii was named by Lü and Zhang (2005). Its type specimen is BPV-078, a partial skeleton (Skeleton with incomplete skull), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Beipiao pterosaurs (PROXY), which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine horizon in the Yixian Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Chaoyangopterus zhangi by Zhou and Wang (2010).
