It was recombined as Chione (Lirophora) mactropsis by Brown and Pilsbry (1911) and Anderson (1929); it was recombined as Chione mactropsis by Olsson (1922); it was recombined as Chione (Panchione) mactropsis by Olsson (1964); it was recombined as Lirophora (Panchione) mactropsis by Woodring (1982).
