Peteinosaurus zambelli
Taxonomy
Peteinosaurus zambelli was named by Wild (1978). Its type specimen is MCSNB 2886, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cene, Seriana Valley, which is in an Alaunian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Zorzino Limestone Formation of Italy.
