Orycteropus abundulafus
Taxonomy
Orycteropus abundulafus was named by Lehmann et al. (2005). Its type specimen is KB03-97-214, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is KB3, Kossom Bougoudi, which is in a Miocene/Pliocene lacustrine sandstone in Chad.
