Megazostrodon rudnerae
Taxonomy
Megazostrodon rudnerae was named by Crompton and Jenkins (1968). Its type specimen is BMNH 26407, a partial skeleton (Partially crushed skull and lower jaw and portions of the postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pokane (Locality A), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho. It is the type species of Megazostrodon.
