Juramantophasma sinica

Taxonomy
Juramantophasma sinica was named by Huang et al. (2008). Its type specimen is NIGP 142171a, b, an exoskeleton (nearly complete adult female), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Juramantophasma.
