Archeosmylus costalis

Taxonomy
Archeosmylus costalis was named by Riek (1955). Its type specimen is University of Queensland Department of Geology C907, C908, a forewing (forewing fragment), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mount Crosby Insect Bed (UQ collection), which is in a Norian pond shale in Australia.
