It was corrected as Apterygota by Börner (1904), Carpenter (1992) and Kukalová-Peck and Lawrence (2004).

It was assigned to Hexapoda by Börner (1904); and to Insecta by Carpenter (1992) and Kukalová-Peck and Lawrence (2004).
