Dendrohyrax samueli
Taxonomy
Dendrohyrax samueli was named by Pickford (2005). Its type specimen is Bar 961'01, a partial skull (palate with much of the dentition), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aragai - Tugen Hills, which is in a Messinian fluvial siltstone/sandstone in the Lukeino Formation of Kenya.
