Taxonomy
Petrablattina was named by Scudder (1879) [possibly 1878].

It was synonymized subjectively with Phyloblatta by Handlirsch (1920).

It was assigned to Blattariae by Kliver (1883); to Blattinariae by Scudder (1879), Scudder (1885), Scudder (1886) and Scudder (1895); and to Petrablattinidae by Durden (1969).
