Endotherium niinomii
Taxonomy
Endotherium niinomii was named by Shikama (1947). Its type specimen is D0247, a partial skeleton (Posterior part of right lower jaw, bearing cheek teeth; anterior part of left lower jaw without teeth, but with alveolar sheath; fragments of scapula and humeri), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xinqiu (Hsinchiu) coal mine, which is in an Aptian/Albian terrestrial coal/shale in the Fuxin Formation of China. It is the type species of Endotherium.
