Presbyornis mongoliensis
Taxonomy
Presbyornis mongoliensis was named by Kurochkin and Dyke (2010). Its type specimen is PIN 3104-607, a set of limb elements (distal end of left tarsometarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 1 [SMPE], which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial gravel in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia.
