Taxonomy
Neanaperiallus masneri was named by Gibson (2009). Its type specimen is AMNH-B-JWJ-265, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (AMNH collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
