Taxonomy
Antefungivora germanica was named by Ansorge (1996). Its type specimen is LGA 394, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Klein Lehmhagen pit, Grimmen (LGA collection), which is in a Toarcian offshore shale in Germany.
