Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
Y. Gao 1993A medium sized megalosaur, about 6 m in length; 10 cervicals, the last two planocoelous, with ventral keel; 13 dorsals, 5 coalesced sacrals. Distal caudals with elongate prezygapophyses. Deltopectoral crest of humerus well developed; length ratio of radius to humerus is 56%. Metacarpal IV short and light. Ilium especially low; pubis with foot-like distal end. Distal end of ischium expanded.
M. T. Carrano et al. 2012Tetanuran with only cervical vertebrae 2–4 opisthocoelous, remainder amphiplatyan (Holtz et al. 2004). Although the specimen requires detailed restudy, it can be distinguished from other theropods in the same formation (Rauhut 2003).
