Strombina (Lirastrombina) costaricensis

Taxonomy
Strombina costaricensis was named by Olsson (1922). Its type specimen is PRI 21054, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Middle Creek [Rio Banano Fm], which is in a Piacenzian marine siliciclastic in the Rio Banano Formation of Costa Rica.

It was recombined as Strombina (Lirastrombina) costaricensis by Jung (1989).
