Geosaurus medius
Taxonomy
Cricosaurus medius was named by Wagner (1858). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Daiting (BSPG collection), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Mörnsheim Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Geosaurus medius by Fraas (1901); it was synonymized subjectively with Rhacheosaurus gracilis by Young et al. (2010).
