Taxonomy
Burmirhynchia namtuensis was named by Buckman (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Se-In, which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Namyau Beds Formation of Myanmar.
It was recombined as Kallirhynchia namtuensis by Jin et al. (1979) and Sun (1981).
