Zonaria praelatior
Taxonomy
Bistolida praelatior was named by Dolin (1991). Its type specimen is USNM 438616, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 1196. Farley Creek, about 0.8 mi E of bridge of Fla. Hwy. 275, which is in an Aquitanian marine limestone in the Arcadia Formation of Florida.
It was recombined as Zonaria praelatior by Landau and Groves (2011).
