Microtuban altivolans
Taxonomy
Microtuban altivolans was named by Elgin and Frey (2011). Its type specimen is SMNK PAL 6595, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hadjoula (SMNK collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate mudstone in the Sannine Limestone Formation of Lebanon. It is the type species of Microtuban.
