K. F. Hirsch 1994 (Prismatoolithus)Obliquiprismatic morphotype obliquicanaliculate pore system. Outer shell surface smooth, probably with faint striations. Shell thickness 0.7–1.0 mm. Restored egg approximately 110 x 60 mm in size, of elliptical shape, one end slightly more pointed.

Hills 1996The oogeneric diagnosis from Hirsch (1994) is as follows: obliquiprismatic morphotype; obliquicanaliculatc pore system; outer surface smooth with faint striations; shell thickness 0.7–1.0 mm; eiiiptical-shaped eggs with one end more slightly pointed; egg size approximately 110 x 60 mm (EL = 1.8).
