Taxonomy
Pseudoloris pyrenaicus was named by Minwer-Barakat et al. (2010). Its type specimen is IPS-46297, a mandible (Fragment of a right mandible with P4-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sant Jaume de Frontanyà-3C, which is in a Bartonian mire/swamp marl/coal in the Bellmunt Formation of Spain.
