Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
D. C. Evans et al. 2013Medium-sized pachycephalosaurid with the following autapomorphies: ovoid dome in dorsal view in which the width of the frontoparietal dome is less than two thirds its total length, distinct midline ridge on the dorsal surface of the posteromedian process of the parietal. Differs from Stegoceras validum and Colepiocephale in the absence of grooves between the frontonasal boss and the supraorbital lobe, the full incorporation of supraorbitals into the dome, and in the symmetry of the dome in lateral view. Differs from Pachycephalosaurus and Sphaerotholus in that the postorbital extends higher on the dome than the posterior supraorbital, and their sutural surfaces are strongly arched dorsally.
