Lyropecten miguelensis

Taxonomy
Pecten (Lyropecten) miguelensis was named by Arnold (1906). Its type specimen is UCMP 12079, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Miguel Island, which is in a Miocene marine horizon in California.

It was recombined as Lyropecten miguelensis by Moore (1984) and Smith (1991).
