Taxonomy
Suljuktocossus prosboloides was named by Becker-Migdisova (1949). Its type specimen is PIN 444/2, a wing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sulyukta (PIN collection 444), which is in a Toarcian terrestrial horizon in the Sulyukta Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
