Hynerpeton bassetti
Taxonomy
Hynerpeton bassetti was named by Daeschler et al. (1994). Its type specimen is ANSP 20053,, a set of postcrania (pectoral girdle), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Hill Locality, which is in a Famennian channel sandstone in the Catskill Formation of Pennsylvania. It is the type species of Hynerpeton.
