Spinolestes xenarthrosus

Taxonomy
Spinolestes xenarthrosus was named by Martin et al. (2015). Its type specimen is MCCMLH30000, a skeleton (Complete skeleton with integumentary structures), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Las Hoyas (MCCM collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large limestone/packstone in the La Huérguina Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Spinolestes.
