Paraceratherium lepidum
Taxonomy
Paraceratherium lipidus was named by Xu and Wang (1978). Its type specimen is TP 9401, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1 km west of Feiyue Railway station, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Taoshuyuanzi Formation of China.
