Primary venation pinnate, secondary venation polygonal reticulodromous; major secondary veins with decurrent attachment. Intercostal tertiary veins regular polygonal reticulate, and conspicuous thickened margin. Adaxial and abaxial cuticle with isodiametric epidermal cells, with a rectangular organized pattern towards the margins, and trichome abscission thickened scars. Stomatal complexes cyclocytic and amphistomatic, more abundant on abaxial epidermis than on adaxial, and randomly oriented. |
