Differs from Entelognathus (2) by having a dentary with both palatal and facial laminae, no infradentaries or gular plates, two pairs of postorbital plates, paired central plates, long rostral and premedian plates, ventral nostrils, paired grooves leading to nasal openings on the ventral face of the dermal rostrum, a ventral mouth, an opercular with a ventral lamina, ginglymoid dermal neck joint, three median dorsal plates, posterior ventrolateral plates of both sides in contact, small eye capsules that are not sutured to surrounding bones, and tubercular ornament. |
