Barbatia (Cucullaearca) cliffensis

Taxonomy
Barbatia cliffensis was named by Hanna (1927). Its type specimen is UCMP 31076 - 31081 (cotypes) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCR loc. 4922, which is in a Lutetian deep subtidal shelf shale in the Ardath Formation of California.

It was recombined as Barbatia (Cucullaearca) cliffensis by Reinhart (1943), Moore (1983), Squires (1987) and Squires (1988).
