W. H. Wheeler 1961Large uintathere, distinguished from Uintatherium and Eobasileus by skull pro-
portions. Skull long and narrow with parietal horn situated relatively near occiput; postero- dorsal part of temporal fossa not widened; maxillary horn situated mainly above the diastema; portion of skull in front of maxillary horns moderately elongate. Skull in known specimens 75-95 cm. long; upper cheek-tooth row 161-179 mm. long.
