Taxonomy
Teilhardina was named by Simpson (1940). It is not extant. It was considered polyphyletic by Hooker (2007).
It was assigned to Omomyinae by Simpson (1940); to Teilhardinina by Szalay (1976); to Anaptomorphinae by Gingerich (1993); to Anaptomorphini by Gunnell and Rose (2002); and to Omomyidae by McKenna and Bell (1997), Hooker (2007), Rose et al. (2011) and Rose et al. (2012).
