Taxonomy
Koninckites truncatus was named by Spath (1934). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidroo, Lower Ceratite Limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Dienerian marine sandstone in the Lower Ceratite Limestone Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Radioceras truncatum by Ware and Bucher (2018) and Ware and Bucher (2018).
