Taxonomy
Calymene granulata was named by Munster (1840).

It was recombined as Phacops (Phacops) granulatus by Yuan and Xiang (1998); it was recombined as Rabienops granulatus by Korn et al. (2016); it was recombined as Phacops granulatus by Wedekind (1914) and Basse and Lemke (2023).

Synonyms
  • Phacops posidoniae was named by Gürich (1896).

    It was synonymized subjectively with Phacops granulatus by Osmólska (1958).
