Gnomomys saltus
Taxonomy
Gnomomys saltus was named by Wilson (1968) [genotype]. Its type specimen is V55826, a mandible (mandible dext. with m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Gnomomys.
It was synonymized subjectively with Tregomys shotwelli by Voorhies (1990), Dalquest et al. (1996) and Korth (1998).
