Ilingoceros schizoceras
Taxonomy
Ilingoceros schizoceras was named by Merriam (1911) [possibly a junior synonym of I. alexandrae according to Stirton 1940a]. Its type specimen is UCMP 11893, a partial skull (a complete horn-core), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Thousand Creek Formation, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Thousand Creek Formation of Nevada.
