Microsyops angustidens

Taxonomy
Cynodontomys angustidens was named by Matthew (1915). Its type specimen is A.M.N.H. No. 15073, a mandible (fragmentary left mandible with P3-M3 and fragment of right mandible with P4-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Microsyops angustidens type locality, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Microsyops angustidens by Szalay (1969), Gunnell (1985) and Gunnell (1989).
