Ogmodontomys sawrockensis
Taxonomy
Ogmodontomys sawrockensis was named by Hibbard (1957) [used without justification by Chaline et al. 1999]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMMP 28166, a partial skull (Part of palatal region with M1 preserved). Its type locality is Saw Rock Canyon (Lower), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.
It was recombined as Mimomys sawrockensis by Repenning (1987) and Mou (1997).
