Trogosus castoridens

Taxonomy
Trogosus castoridens was named by Leidy (1871) [genotype]. Its type locality is Grizzly Buttes, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Trogosus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Anchippodus minor by Leidy (1872) and Hay (1902); it was synonymized subjectively with Anchippodus riparius by Leidy (1873).
