Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
F. Huene 1933 | In comparing the described fragments of the skulls of Indosuchus and Indosaurus, it becomes evident that the latter possesses much stouter and thicker bones. The parietals of Indosaurus are short and broad and Indosuchus has a narrow, parietal crest. In Indosuchus, the roof of the skull between the orbits is flat, in Indosaurus, there seems to have been a transverse crest above and behind the orbits, and the frontals are concave and decline in front; on the post-frontals there were apparently horn-like tuberosities; nothing of this is found in Indosuchus. |
