Lonchidion humblei

Taxonomy
Lonchidion humblei was named by Murry (1981). Its type specimen is SMUSMP 67951, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Head of Holmes Creek, which is in a Carnian/Norian channel lag claystone in the Tecovas Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Lissodus humblei by Murry (1986), Murry and Long (1989), Murry (1989) and Heckert and Lucas (2006).
