Peltosaurus granulosus
Taxonomy
Peltosaurus granulosus was named by Cope (1873). Its type specimen is AMNH No. 1610 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Creek, which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Peltosaurus.
