Paralectotypes: left mandible, juvenile mandible; figured by Aymard, MNHN, coll. Aymard n°1890-5
Other remains figured by Kowalewsky (1874) and Filhol (1882) in MNHN or Crozatier Museum (Le Puy-en-Velay)
]. It is not extant. It is the type species of Entelodon.
