Anchisauripus bibractensis
Taxonomy
Anchisauripus bibractensis was named by Demathieu (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 21.8 F, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Pont d'Argent Quarry, bed 4 tracksite, which is in an Anisian/Ladinian lagoonal sandstone/claystone in the Grès d'Antully Formation of France.
It was recombined as Grallator bibractensis by Demathieu (1989) and Courel and Demathieu (1995).

Demathieu 1971 | Empreinte dinosauroïde, petite (39 X 62 mm), où l'orteil IV est plus grand que le IL La griffe du 2e rayon est au niveau de la partie inférieure du 2e coussinet du 3 e rayon, celle du 4e au niveau de la partie antérieure de ce coussinet. Le hallux n'est présent sur aucune empreinte. La base de la pelote distale du 1er coussinet de l'orteil III se situe à peu près au niveau des sommets des coussinets articulaires des phalanges 1.2. des orteils II et IV. La partie postérieure de ce coussinet distal du IV est un peu plus basse que celle du III. Les griffes sont assez petites mais elles présentent de forts reliefs. |
