Seymouria sanjuanensis
Taxonomy
Seymouria sanjuanensis was named by Vaughn (1966). Its type specimen is NTM VP 1024, a partial skull (lacks tip of snout and a part of the interorbital region), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Organ Rock Shale 2, which is in an Artinskian channel sandstone in the Organ Rock Shale Formation of Utah.
