O. S. Adegoke 1977Medium-sized, Cornulina-like shell, with short, acute spire, ornamented by short spines which are wel1 developed near the adapical and abapical ends of whorls and suppressed in between. Body whorl long, ornamented by a crown of nodes located a considerable distance below suture. Spine bases prolonged as broad ridges on the body whorl. Columella heavy and cylindrical, sharply bent abaperturally below body whorl and its tip is twisted and recurved toward the outer lip. Siphonal fasciole well developed, canal narrow and crescentic. Columella and part of parietal surface covered by callus.

Sculpture consists of a series of narrow, wavy spiral ribs separated by wide interspaces. Ribs few and faint on adapical portion of body whorl above the row of nodes.
