Stratigraphy comments: "Hollington Formation—Denstone Formation, Upper Scythian-Middle Anisian, Lower-Middle Triassic... Although the new quarry was primarily dug to extract sandstone from the Hollington Formation, it also exposed the base of the overlying Denstone Formation. It was one thin bed within this latter formation, which yielded all of the footprint specimens collected from here by Beasley and Brett between 1910 and 1918." (King et al. 2005)
