Lithology description: "The Formation consists of grey calcareous mudstones, siltstones, and sandstones with interbedded blue-gray argillaceous nodular limestone beds containing a rich shelly fauna [...]" Wyse Jackson (2002, in Wyse Jackson et al.(eds.): Bryozoan Studies 2001, and references therein). It is not stated by Evans (2002) but the cephalopod fossils very likely are from the nodular limestones.
