Environment/lithology: deep subtidal; lithified, cherty/siliceous packstone

• Packstones with chert, peloids and echinoderm fragments, and with intercalations of marly limestones. Wackestone beds and biocalcarenites: (1) micritic limestone beds (wackestone) with occasional crinoid ossicles, very small echinoid spines, some bryozoans and rare foraminifera (Agerina martana, Spirillina sp., Lenticulina sp., Frondicularia sp., Trocholina sp.), and scarce ooids; (2) biocalcarenites (mud-supported crinoidal packstone) predominantly with crinoid fragments, abundant sponge spicules, bryozoans, and a few lagenid foraminifera.
